At Shamrock Kennels our goal is to produce top quality Beagles in the world of Field, Hunt and Show. First and foremost, we pride ourselves in our ability to produce the perfect family companion.     Our beagles are breed exclusively for sound health and a sunny disposition. They are well-tempered and highly socialized, especially with children. We breed both the 13" and 15" variety of Beagles. However, most will average 13" at maturity. Our Beagle pups possess that unique quality that makes them "the smallest of the hounds with the largest of hearts!" On occasion, averaging 3-4 times a year, our AKC hounds are bred in order to improve our pack and our line. We temperament test all of our pups. This evaluation will determine which pup scores higher in the "Sight-Sent" portion of the test. These pups will be obtained by Shamrock Kennels. Our hopes are to train these youngsters on rabbits and place them into our hunting program at the appropriate age. Our confirmation pups are chosen after a close evaluation of each pup's structure and correctness.     Our pups enter into their new homes around 7-8 weeks. By this time they will have received their first full round of puppy vaccinations. They will have been de-wormed 3-4 times, as well. They come fully equipped with a "Purina Puppy Package." This includes a Puppy Care Guide Book, free CD-ROM or video info on puppy care, information on the Beagle itself, as well as a complete Health Care Report on the pup.
